Built primarily as a water supply for the city of Wichita Falls, it’s also now one of the region’s premier recreation sites. The lake is a wonderful place to swim on a beach that’s not supervised, as well as boating, waterskiing and fishing.
The park also offers camping, disc golf, picnicking and hiking trails that showcase the surrounding leafy scenery. It’s a dog friendly park and offers educational outreach programs for youngsters centering around wildlife preservation. The park’s four equestrian camping plots come with 50 amp electricity, tie rails and corrals as well as water connections.

Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum
The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum preserves the history of this popular sports with its outrageous acrobatics and improbable finishes. Inductees include midgets, women (Mildred Burke), and even the oddball likes of Mexican lucha libre crossover star Mil Mascaras. Upstairs, framed photos and robes fill room after room, while posters recall the good old days or are downright silly.

Texas Sports Hall of Fame
